Hello I'm Denise I'm from the fifth largest city in Denmark called Esbjerg. Its an old fishermans town located on the west coast of Jutland: The part of Denmark connecting with Germany. We had this game along with Adept Softwares 1993 game Jetpack on the old computers back in elementary school. The computers were located by the cafeteria and because we only had ten computers, every recess all the kids that wanted to use them would first line up in two rows facing each other we had to play rock paper scissors with the kid standing in front of us, the winner would get to play on the computer the first half of the recess. We had newer computers too but those were locked inside classrooms used only for computers they were lined up in 4 rows with 10 computers in each row. The older computers located by the cafeteria were only used for gaming, while the ones in the computer rooms were for schoolwork. We had 3 computer rooms one for each hall. Every hall was sorted by age. The small kids aged from 7 to 10 in the first hall, the middle aged kids from 11 to 14 in the middle hall and the big kids aged 15 to 17-18, depending on if you took the last and tenth year, were in the last hall. In Denmark you go to elementary school for nine or ten years starting at the age of 7. The last year is only mandatory for the ones that wants to get a college degree. From kindergarden to elementary school to gymnasium to college thats the school system in Denmark. Anyway back to the old computers in the cafeteria :) One time in recess when i was about 12 years old, two kids starting fighting over the computer they were sharing. The kid who played first didn't want to stop playing, and the other kid got upset and started hitting him, they were standing next to me just sitting there playing Math Rescue. The kid that played first bitchslapped the other kid so hard he tripped and fell towards me, in the fall he grapped out for something to reach, he reached my f...ing face and scratched me so badly in the left eye i had to go to the emergency room, I was bleeding from the eye. They performed an eye surgery and I had to walk with a patch on the eye for 3 weeks looking like some damn ugly kiddy pirate :) I was nicknamed Captain D One Eye :D the name fortunatly didn't stuck with me because my parents moved from one side of town to the other forcing my sister and me to switch schools witch was awesome because our old school sucked balls. So thats my memory of playing Math Rescue in elementary school :)
